New Orleans Invented Jazz
Did you know jazz was born in New Orleans? In the early 1900s, the city's mix of African, Caribbean and European music collided in its bars and brass-band parades to create something entirely new. You can still hear live jazz spilling out of doorways on Frenchmen Street any night of the week.
