A Castle Built Into the Mouth of a Cave
Did you know Slovenia has the world's largest cave castle? Predjama Castle has clung to a cliff face for over 800 years, built directly into a cavern mouth. Its most famous resident, the knight Erazem, withstood a year-long siege by smuggling food through secret cave tunnels — until a betrayal ended it rather abruptly.
