Did you know Angel Falls, the world's tallest waterfall, drops so far the water can turn to mist before reaching the ground? Plunging about 3,212 feet or 979 meters off a tabletop mountain deep in Canaima National Park, much of it atomizes into spray in the dry season. Locals call it Kerepakupai Merú — "waterfall of the deepest place".
