The Hotel That Melts Every Spring

Did you know Sweden's famous Icehotel is rebuilt from scratch every winter? Since 1989, artists in the Lapland village of Jukkasjärvi have sculpted rooms, beds and even a bar from tons of ice harvested from the Torne River. Each spring the whole hotel melts back into the river it came from — no two years are ever the same.
